Martin Kenty Project
Kenora/Rainy River Mining District
Large Land Package
10,100-hectare project located in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction
Good Infrastructure
Due to the development of Rainy River Mine Complex and forestry industry
Significant Gold Potential
Mineralization identified historically – no modern exploration undertaken on the area
First-Class Technical Team
Responsible for significant Ontario gold discoveries
Exploration
Low Cost
Gold mineralization is primarily associated with strong alteration and sulphides, a trait common to Hemlo-style gold deposits.
High Impact
Roy Martin Showing
Historic trenching reported gold values of 2.8 g/t over ~1.5 metres – no follow-up
East Island Showing
Reported gold values across 3 trenches:
TR1: 9.3 g/ton Au over 3.5 metres
TR2: 5.0 g/ton Au over 4.3 metres
TR3: 4.7 g/ton Au over 5.5 metres
Hay Island Showing
Historical exploration points to potential for significant tonnage
Mongus Lake Showing
Reported pyrite, chalcopyrite and visible gold (no Assays returned). Located 2 km from Wicks Lake Deposit
Exploration Low Cost
All of the samples collected in the 2022 Fall Work Program were collected on mainland and accessible year-round via existing mining and forestry roads as well as a local highway.
2023 Q1-Q3 Work Program
The 2022 fall work program, which included field sampling, provided our technical team with important data that will help identify priority exploration targets for follow-up exploration.
A total of 44 grab samples were taken with more than 30% returning assays of more than 0.5 g/t Au.
The highlighted grab samples include Sample 260905 with 8.04 g/t Au and Sample 260926 with 8.37 g/t Au.
Phase 3 Exploration Program includes a test program of till sampling and lake sediment survey, and an initial drilling program of 1,500 to 3,000 metres.
